One of V.People's more challenging projects began in mid-2006 when, working closely with AMEC, it was commissioned to provide manpower for a trio of North Sea Projects taking place at the same time: the hook up and commissioning of the Nexen Buzzard platform, the British Gas Armada Field shut-down and the start-up of the Conoco Phillips Britsats Phase 1.

With the advantage of the extensive resources of the group's Manila office, V.People was able to recruit more than 300 construction and commissioning personnel.

Mobilisation to the UK started in June 2006 and the last aspects of the project were completed in March 2007. The project was not without challenges, including managing logisitcal issues, ensuring the highest levels of health and safety standards and organising day trips for fob-bound workers.
